I've just checked out iBatis plugin source code, it contains only module file but without project file. After checking out, IDEA asked me to create new project for checked out source, I accepted and created new project. But IDEA didn't ask me to configure IntelliJ IDEA SDK, it used JSDK silently.
Note: I didn't have any pre-configured IntelliJ IDEA SDK before creating that project.
