Checking "Use login auth" and "Try to login silently" in Version Control Configurations while using Perforce causes multiple connections to Perforce server (more than 1500, while normal for our environment is about 150) leading to the Denial-of-Service. From perforce side all those connections consumes all available memory and CPU resources turning dual-core xeon system into a slide-show.
This is confirmed by our developers that version 7.0.3 is affected as well.
