We're having problems with the jasper validation in our project because the bundled version of jasper does not fully support generics. We're forced to either turn off validation or always hit errors when building the project, neither of these are ideal. I noticed that the IDEA 8 EAP recently got a new version of jasper (ver 2.1) and we'd really like to see that packaged in the new 7.0.4 release.
