"Commit Changes" dialog - do not persist "Tag committed files"

Created: 14 Jul 08 15:32   Updated: 14 Jul 08 15:36
Component/s: Version Control Integration. CVS

Build: 7,757

 Description  « Hide
Please always reset (do not persist) the checkboxes for "Tag committed files" + "Override existing tags" in "Commit changes" dialog.

I have used that functionality once and then happily updated and committed other files, without noticing that these checkboxes are still active?
At the end I just updated 20 files in CVS HEAD and kept overwriting history tags - something that definitely should not happen.

Currently when you use this function once, later you can overwrite existing tags by accident and you will not be able to fix it.
If the functionality is removed, the worst case is that you will have to put a tag on the files after the commit.
