I"ve been editing a class comment in a simple Java file and noticed that the caret suddendly stopped shortly before I could continue to type. This happened several times and I captured a snapshot of the last times.

Looks like the problem is caused by the Struts 2 plugin - you should disable it if you aren't using Struts 2.

thanks for the comment.

I am using the Struts2 plugin so I'll try to continue to use it. But thanks for the hint. I'll know what I can do if it becomes worse.

Please try one or both of

a) hiding structure view and/or project view toolwindow
b) disabling Spring facet

and post your observations here, thanks very much.

How many actions and Spring beans does your project have?

thanks for replying.

It's difficult to reproduce this bug so I can't give good observations for a and b.
The project was very small and had about 10 actions and 10 beans, I think.

If you can't find anything useful with the snapshot just close this report. I'll try to report something better next time.
