Every time I load my project it seems to re-index all my libraries

Why does it need to re-index all my libraries when I restart IDEA?
This includes the Java 6 SDK and the src zip files.

It only takes about 5 minutes but I don't see the need.

Yes, Dave, please check "idea.log" file for logged exceptions

Indeed nothing interesting. There are some traces though, that have been fixed. Please use the latest build 8769.

Also, manual cleaning of the system directory might help
