I do not have a "stats" folder in my "system" folder. Also, I clear the system folder in each new build that I use.
I have found a file in config/options/feature.usage.statistics.xml Strange - must still be stored somewhere else. IDEA just recreated that file with the same values as before.
Well, I would have noticed a "system/stat" folder, too, of course.
There simply wasn't one and I don't really understand the logic when it is written. To clear the productivity statistics I had to delete config/feature.usage.statistics.xml and the complete system folder. Counters were reset, but even when executing a few relevant actions, saving, and exiting Idea I still had no "stat" folder in my system folder. Anyway, I think you are right, the bug was already fixed. I just wonder. Maybe it's wrong 'system'? The 'stat' folder should contain 997 files named: for i in 0..997 unit.$i
That was my first thought, as well.
I guess the folder/files get created on-demand. Yesterday I didn't have the folder, this morning IDEA has created it, but it contains only four files (unit.105, unit.174, unit.763, unit.918). |
